Day 13 - Strike

What an exciting day! Not in a good sense, though. Around noon air suddenly was filled with shouting and shooting - something was happening outside. Turns out the security workers are on strike and as they were marching through the city, they decided to smash some cars and shops. Cops, of course, started shooting at them - someone said it was tear gas & rubber bullets, but I don't know for sure. So as a result - police cars everywhere, men with guns running around on the street, a helicopter hovering above, scared tourists hiding in the Museum... and a couple of vandalized cars right outside. Way to protect safety of your fellow citizens, dear security workers.

Am I in France, for real?
