Day 16 - Victoria & Albert Waterfront

V&A Waterfront is a giant upscale mall right on the water. It's a fairly new complex of stores, restaurants, bars etc, and Tracey wanted to check out a jazz place somebody recommended to her. We came there pretty early in the afternoon and, of course, it started raining.

Pros: a huge music store where I got some nice african music; Craft Market; good food (especially pancakes); Olga store. Olga store sells outrageously expensive diamond jewelry and is the only certified diamond cutter at the Waterfront. I introduced myself, and they let me look around, but didn't offer to try anything on ;) Some of the stuff looked suspiciously similar to Tiffany's Etoile line... I wonder if the concept of plagiarism exists in diamond industry.

Cons: it's a tourist trap!
