Day 24 - Hluhluwe at night
Hluhluwe is a private game park about three hours North of Durban. We got there pretty late and since the gates close at 6pm sharp we dropped off our stuff at the lodge and went straight to the park.
It got dark pretty soon, but we still got to see some rhinos, zebras, giraffes and a bunch of different antelopes.
The lodge we were staying at was pretty close to a Zulu village. Tracey was playing her Xhosa drum she made at Coffee Bay, and the owner got his gigantic Zulu drum. He made some noise, and the village awoke! They responded with more drumming (drums are a means of communication), and then it sounded like they went into a party-mode - drumming and singing lasted for a few hours.
