Day 21 - Sacred pool

We went on a [short] walk back to the Sacred pool. It supposedly only takes 15 minutes to get there but seen that it was pouring the whole night, our steep downhill path turned into a mudslide. I am glad they don't know about liability insurance in Transkei - it would have affected many wonderfully insane opportunities to crack your skull open on the rocks or just get your butt muddy while sliding down towards the waterfall.

Going down was semi-OK as I could hold on to branches, people, grass and air.

Going back was slightly more challenging as Neil, the guide, decided to go up the river. The problem is, the river (waterfall / bunch of rocks) became quite full after the rain. Wet rocks = slippery. I am still extremely proud of myself for being one of the very few who did not fall once.
